Hi, I’m finding that when I apply a category to some transactions I get prompted as to whether I want to apply that category to all prior and future transactions but in some cases that prompt is not offered. For example, I have transactions with B&M and Pets at Home but the category only gets applied to the single transaction I’m editing. Is there a reason for the inconsistency? Does it depend on information from the merchant? Can I somehow train the Monzo app to realise these merchants should be categorised differently?
Are you using your monzo card? Or a connected account?
Connected accounts don’t change the category for all past and future.
