App won't open ! Can't access my account

I’m on Android and have the latest software.

When I try to open the Monzo app it has the loading screen before crashing and closing. I can’t access my account at all which is frustrating. Can anyone help ? I’ve seen this has been an issue with others before.

What version of Android are you using? I assume you’ve tried the ol’ turn it off and on again?

It’s always worth deleting the app and downloading it again from the App Store.

Delete the app and reinstall it.

Also make sure you’re connected to the internet

Thanks for the replies. I’m on Android 8.0.0.

A quick uninstall and reinstall of the app seems to have fixed the issue.

This should be added somewhere in the app. “If you ever have an app problem, reinstall” :joy:

How would you see the message though if you couldn’t open the app?

One would assume you’d have seen it every other time you opened the app in the past. Either way I think that joke went right over your head Mr Serious.
