Just set this up, flow worked really well.
After setting up known location, QR code and confirmed contact I went back to edit to adjust daily limits and tried two security checks (known location and contact) and all worked well.

Just set this up and very impressed. I suspect that anything can be circumvented but should make it a hell of a lot harder to lose large sums.

It would be great if you could add more than 3 locations, I work at numerous places.
Also would really like if you could search for the location by address rather than having to scroll and zoom around a map.

Set it up yesterday all great.
One use case I wasn’t sure if it would trigger it but I tested yesterday as I had to pay my credit card bill…
My transfer limit in the added security is set at £1500. I made a payment of £2000 yesterday by initiating payment from the MBNA app which then authenticated with the Monzo app to make the payment by bank transfer.
No added security by Monzo was triggered despite being over the limit I’d set for bank transfers.
I’m actually ok with this as you have to go through security both through the MBNA app, then authenticating through Monzo however wanted to share just to make sure that was known expected behaviour. Given that not just anybody can set up an app that allows payments that way it feels right but as I say, wanted to share.

Are scheduled monthly faster payments going to trigger this security?
If I have a monthly scheduled transfer of £1,000 but have my daily allowance set to £500 will I have to go through the additional security?

You’ll get an added security check when you set up new scheduled payments above your limit, but not every time the money leaves your account.

Quick one really, Why is this here? You obviously can’t scan the QR code from the phone itself so having that option makes no sense
