There weren’t any notifications nor were any planned as far as I know. The timings were well enough publicised in the documentation that there shouldn’t have been too much confusion.

(If you’d opened the app in time you would have had an additional banner at the bottom of the screen if you were eligible to invest.)

Huge congratulations to the team at Monzo! The whole thing was prepared and executed beautifully: on the dot, smooth, easy and efficient! Proud to be a Monzo investor! :rocket:

I really hope Monzo stay true to themselves and continue to revolutionise banking industry, as opposed to agreeing a sale to a massive mainstream bank (I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve seen some offers already).

On another topic though, I’ve noticed some people have their community profile link in their app. I don’t. Is there anything that should be done to merge app and community forum account? Both use the same email address of mine.

I’m not sure what you mean by this? I don’t think there is any way to link the two that I’ve ever heard of.

Hello All,

I hope you all managed to get some shares, very exciting. We all purchased at £7.7145, but is there a way to find out how much the shares are worth in say 3 months time? They have grown since £2.3566

They will be worth £7.7145. They will only change value if investment is reopened, at which point, we’ll all be told the share value.

You’ll find a response in the general fundraise thread here (You’ve invested £20,000,000 in Monzo! 🚀)

But the simple answer is that you can’t until either Monzo floats on the stock market (and therefore the city tell you how much they’re worth based on share demand) or Monzo do another fund raise like this where they re-value the company and therefore determine how much they think the value is worth.

Either way though, generally speaking, your shares at the moment are kind of worthless (in as far as you can’t sell them) until Monzo decides to float on the stock market.
