Wiki: Current Account Switching Incentives 💸

Set what up manually? The DDs need to be on the account switch from and transfer as part of the switch. It doesn’t matter how the DD is set up initially, as long as its imported as part of the CASS process.

Sometimes banks insist you have a DD setup sometime after the switch - Santander for example. In those instances it doesn’t matter if the DD is set up before or after the switch, as long as it’s still there. But Nationwide is not one of these - they need the DDs to be part of the switch.

I’ve always changed the details of whatever direct debit I wish to use for the switching bribe rather than letting them CASS. It always works
It doesn’t matter if it’s imported during the CASS process as long as it’s there in the end.

Cool - but if ever it didn’t work then you wouldn’t have a leg to stand on because the T&Cs specifically require it.

New Switch Offer from Co-Op Bank

ÂŁ75 for Switching then ÂŁ75 for saying for 3 Months.

ÂŁ75: Deposit ÂŁ1,000, have 2 direct debits active and make 10 debit card payments.

ÂŁ25 for 3 months after hitting the above criteria each month after.

Meh I want ÂŁ200 for just switching, not ÂŁ150 for constantly jumping through hoops for three months.

ÂŁ75 is a loaf of bread and pack of sausages these days. :-1: Co-op was incredibly shit last time I switched to them, gotta pony up money to make up for the pain.

Ah can’t do £175 Nationwide October 2021 I switched for a bribe :upside_down_face:

Could be the last CoOp switch as they’ll be Coventry this time next year.

Any idea when the Nationwide switch offer will end?

No official end date, could be pulled anytime

Source for that? Everything I’ve read suggests that they’ll continue as separate businesses with separate identities for some considerable time.

Looks like a new switching offer for people moving to a Club Lloyds account

Those who have received a switching offer from Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland since April 2020 will also not be eligible for the bonus.

Poor.

RBS app is great to be fair.

Do wish they’d view transactions as soon as you tap the account though, instead of bringing up all options first.

Lloyds app is clunky, spending insights isn’t as good as RBS/Natwest.

Neither have sound/vibrate for notifications, and rbs never fails to show a notification, whereas Lloyds is very infrequent.

Wonder if Natwest might have an upcoming switch offer? Would work out fine as i quite like the RBS functionality and i could ditch C&Co

Still using my Child & Co everyday!!!

Yup.

Natwest have launched a Switch Offer of ÂŁ180 for switching to one of their Reward Accounts.

  • Pay in ÂŁ1,250 (Must Remain in account for 24 Hours)
  • Log into Natwest App

Natwest will pay the ÂŁ180 in 7 days of everything being done correctly.

(Hope that’s all right above. Never put a swich offer on the forum before so i looked at someone else who had. :worried:)
