The Articles of Association specifically disapply the statutory right of pre-emption (quite common) and I wouldn’t expect pre-emption to even really be plausible with the many thousands of crowdfunding investors, it would just be carnage.
Out of interest, how would Monzo forget their crowdfunders? They’ve allowed them to be part of the journey (as they could easily have acquired the funding from private investors). All investors have the pre-emption rights removed so no one is being treated differently.
