Sir here is a cheque with my name on it! Write down any number on this piece of paper and I will pay it as long as it’s under £100
That’s a really fun idea! But I don’t think so I’m afraid, at least not this time
The limit is £2k regardless of if you have a previous investment or not.
@simonb can existing investors not based in the UK still invest?
I’m afraid this round is only open to UK residents.
Instant it seems
Is it possible Monzo could make something like this
https://getchip.uk/calculator/#!data-view?value=1000
Would help a lot
Thanks, I didn’t see this!
Hidden away on page 28 of the prospectus
edit: I say hidden, Monzo aren’t hiding anything!
fingers crossed!
+1, this would be incredibly useful!
OK lets talk numbers - If I invest £2000 how much would that be worth in 5 years you reckon?
Looking forward to investing this time.
On the prospectus (page 38) it says this:
ability to pay cash into the Monzo account with PayPort at more than 28,000
stores across the UK.
Shouldn’t this be PayPoint or is that the name of their software/parent company or something?
Unbelievable hard to judge… butttt if i was to hazard a guess.
I’d like to think Monzo could be equal to Metro Bank which is floating at £20 a share roughly.
Profitability has to come first though before they can even think of that.
Obviously I am not a person who should be listened to here as a financial advisor only have my own wishful thinking and love of monzo as expertise here.
Sounds good, Current investors also get early access right? is it all through the app?
I guess I’m not quite sure why Monzo needs an additional £20,000,000! Can someone tell me?
Quick question on the investor card: can we keep the same card details as the existing card but with the investor design, or would we get entirely new card details?
Expansion, business account, Yorkshire tea etc
