How do you know thatās the front?

I disagree, I think thatās Tristanās blue skin. ![]()
The background is purple > Starling is purple > Starling got bought by RBS > Starling Bought Monzo > Cards now Starling Purple.
Where is MasterCard Logo? I am fairly sure itās not going to be vertical card⦠If I take try to take photo just as in @anon50039658ās tweet edge of MasterCard logo is there
Monzo have become their own card network?
I wouldnāt be shocked if it was just an improvement on the ink coming off.
I worry a bit about new cards for the sake of it. If theyāre super amazing everyone will want one (and at 1m customers at a fiver* a pop that isnāt cheap). And if theyāre not, whatās the point?
Iām hoping this might be more to do with something in app. Or maybe online only cards for the under 16s?
*I think I remember a new card costing Monzo around Ā£5ā¦
If they somehow pulled this out of the bag, Iād be over the moon.
I think youāre right with the digital side of things - Maybe āone timeā use online cards?
Good thinking. But maybe also the full card number (and CVC) in the app?

Iāve always wondered why that wasnāt already there.
But⦠Why is the sneak peek a real life card (from what I can tell⦠which isnāt a lot)?
Either way, consider me intrigued!
I am intrigued as to what this could be, wonder when we will find out.
Looking at that picture again, those digits look raised - or at least have a raised effect on them.

I know itās not the diagonal card
If you zoom in the numbers are raised still.

I notice that Starling recently changed the design of their cards including the removal of card numbers from the front. Having seen one in person, it looks really smart. I wondered if there was any plans to do something similar (to make the card represent the modern forward thinking bank that Monzo is) at Monzo?
I quite like the etched details. Not bothered about the placement (back or front). I do think the Starling cards look like hotel key cards though. But I think thatās because theyāre vertical.
