Customer Operations in South Wales? Tell me you’ve not Nev from The Call Centre calling the shots?

In all seriousness though, congratulations on the new office :slightly_smiling_face:

Excellent…any accounting jobs coming to Cardiff?

Best of luck

How much is the grant from government going to be?

I’ll love this announcement even more when engineers can be based in cardiff too.

Great news, Cardiff deserves more (source: I often jump on some train, and travel to a random place to get out of London. Love Wales.) :+1:

Hopefully there will be more roles over time, e.g. engineering.

I think this is definitely my favourite Hot Chip so far.

Personally, I think this is fantastic news for Monzo, indicating growth and confidence for the future as well as sharing their success across the UK.

I’d love to see open office and similar events being (at least occasionally) held in the Cardiff office for the completely selfish reason that it’s closer to where I live than London is.

Hi all, could you please let me know what the jobs in Cardiff are based on? Is this calls based or do you have a social media/email/webchat department? I currently work as a Customer Service Manager with Tesco and answer customer queries and contact through email and webchat. However, I’m being made redundant in February :disappointed_relieved: and the job you have advertised, looks really interesting and something I want to get stuck into :grinning: Could you please also let me know what the start date is for these jobs?

Thanks all :raising_hand_woman::+1:

Have you looked at the job Ad linked from the blog post?

Does anyone know the closing date? I can’t find it in the application page

Hi  there isn’t a closing date - we’re accepting applications now and our first assessments will be taking place next week! We are looking to hire up to around 50 COps in Cardiff over the next three months, so we’ll continue accepting applications and holding assessments until we reach our target :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Jade  our Customer Operations team mostly interact with our customers through the in-app chat, which is why we ask for excellent written English in the job ad :muscle:

The start dates will be from around the 2nd week in January onwards. Hope that answers your questions but let me know if I can help with anything else!

Hi
How about a office in Leeds Yorkshire, a great place to be and work houses are very reasonable in Yorkshire

Ask Leeds council to offer them a grant that’s better than whatever the Welsh government is offering them.

Do you have or are you likely to have any summer internship/work experience opportunities?

Soooo Manchester is a pretty cool place for a new Dev ops location. We have some technical analysts in certain financial service companies that would love to work for certain upstart banks

Hi Bobbi,
Where’s the Cardiff office based? Is it within walking distance of Cardiff Central train station?

Thanks in advance,
Gav.

I’d be shocked if Derby wasn’t on the cards for future offices. Lots of trains to London and tonnes of empty office space within 10 mins walk from the station.

Wow this is great timing! Just clicked the link but the job listing has been taken down, is there anyway to get in contact regarding this with Beth/Bobbi?
