I think it would be really beneficial for Monzo to start including more details in the trends tab in the app. I personally think it should be renamed as the budgeting tab?
I’m using Plum/Emma for this at the moment and it’s clearer to understand. I think there’s a missed opportunity here for Monzo users to combine everything into one app. I think it would benefit everyone for saving and proper personal debt management - maybe including AI for budget insights and asking the user about what other debts they have, their APR so there’s a list of all debts and gives an estimate on how long it will take to clear paying minimum payments or even a custom amount.
The trends tab I never use because I feel a line chart doesn’t make it interactive enough and doesn’t give enough insight. Would be great to see some sort of Monzo Max incentive of an upgrade in this area or even for everyone?
There are a lot of budgeting apps that are very clear, I would actually prefer the line chart to become a pie chart instead.
