I’m currently looking to open a Help To Buy ISA through Nationwide, but I currently have a Monzo ISA pot, I know I can transfer this ISA to nationwide and then open the help to buy, but does anyone know if I can simply delete the Monzo ISA pot and not have to do the whole transfer process?
Definitely don’t do that unless you opened and last contributed to the cash isa pot last tax year. You can only open 1 cash isa per year and help to buy is classed as a cash isa. If you just delete it you won’t be able to open the help to buy til next April
