Can’t remember where I first heard about Monzo - might have been via Martin Lewis!
I first got my card in 2018 because of fee free spending in another country, as well as free cash withdrawals in other countries. My sister used to live in America, so I used it for that only for about 3 years, until I took an interest in the budgeting facilities. Now it is my spending money account, as well as some bits of saving.
I didn’t crowdfund which I’m sad about but I didn’t have the money to then anyways.
I hope there is some sort of fun celebratory thing that Monzo does for it’s customers

Wished I had known about Mondo/Monzo prior to 2016, it would have been great to be in the #1- #1,000 customers part, hopefully, I can be around for the next 10 years.
Anyway, I first heard about Monzo at the start of 2024 (yes that late) and had watched various adverts for it. I will be getting my first card this month (Feb) in 2025 and looking forward to the cinema perks. I didn’t crowdfund as I was years to late joining it.

Just under a week to go now until the 
big 10 party, hopefully followed by the release of the special edition big 10 black metal cards. One can only hope.

I personally would prefer this card:
HOWEVER, if they were to do something for 10 years, I don’t see why they couldn’t do both options, as there’s definitely gotta be people who like one over the other??

Bring back embossed cards, and a snobby “member since…” as if they’re Amex.

Ah yes, I forgot. I hid that bold coral card in the drawer and didn’t bother to activate after unpacking.

Tbf, metal cards sound lovely until you need to use it at an ATM, or like some people have reported, RFID signal can get choppy.
Right. Today is the most important day of the year, followed closely by Monzo’s birthday tomorrow.
After last night 
, today may be a very long day, but I’m looking forward to banking-related gifts from tomorrow.
