Suggestion for when you branch out beyond UK

Once you operate in multiple countries it may be best to have separate communities. Where certain banks like bunq have one community for users in Netherlands, Germany, UK etc and all the posts in all the languages are jumbled up together it is not as easy to find stuff relevant to the user

It may be possible to do this within a single community with a plugin to filter based on language. You could set the languages you are comfortable with in your profile and it would only show the relevant posts.

A lot of content is relevant cross-region, and potentially cross-language with automatic translation if the equivalent information isn’t available in the native language.

Who knows how the community might develop once we expand internationally! Exciting stuff. It would be great to develop all community platforms so that they are relevant and easy to navigate for Monzo users worldwide, but in a way that supports and encourages people to connect with Monzo community members across the globe too :earth_americas:
