What’s wrong with the font?
I need dark mode, I get blinded by that bloody nav bar at bottom every time
There’s a quite annoying bug in the new update app that they haven’t fixed yet. If you take money out of a ‘Space’ and then go to payments screen to make a transfer the balance doesn’t update. You have to go to the home page to let the new balance go up and then to payments.
Ive seen this for weeks, if not months
I believe iOS has dark mode so I assume they are planning to bring it to Android soon.
Definitely no fees to deposit cash into a personal account at the Post Office. I’ve done this many times
My fear was more that they’re getting ready to introduce fees and went too early with the content.
But I’ve been disabused of that by a whole bunch of people, so I’m confident that won’t happen now!
Well, I certainly hope that’s not the case! I’d be surprised as they’ve managed to keep the personal accounts fee-free thus far, but you never know!
I’ve had an issue recently whereby my main balance went below zero. When this happens, I usually get a notification to say it’s dropped below zero but I have enough in Goals to cover it so won’t be charged interest. The last couple of times that notification hasn’t mentioned Goals, only that I may be charged. I’ve queried this with them and didn’t really get a straight answer, though I’ve checked the T&Cs, website, interest screen in the app… they all confirm interest is calculated on the cleared, end of day balance and this includes any money in Goals. Another one where you hope it’s just a mistake and not indicative of a change that might be coming!
Well, they’re “always tinkering with the app” so who knows what’s in store?
I was expecting like a big short movie
With trailers now is there anything left of the film to actually go and watch and enjoy, or is just the filling!
They don’t even mention who they bank with though I was seeing Melissa McCarthy as Anne Boden
Their best British bank win will hopefully help entice people to them, especially when they’ve won so many times.
They really are desperate for new customers aren’t they!
I think award where you get to spam people to get them to vote and heavily advertise for people to vote, loses the prestige. That goes for all award for everything and anyone.
If they weren’t good, people wouldn’t vote for them and would probably vote for someone else if the spamming actually annoyed them.
And it would confuse me if Starling weren’t desperate for new customers.
I’m not saying they are bad.
But if you spend money to put ads on facebook and someone else doesn’t, it’s not really a fair award is it? There’s so many of these anyway, every week Starling or Monzo seems to be winning something and beating other banks.
Won’t be long until you start seeing these ads and you won’t have to pretend they don’t exist anymore.
Wow. Yet another person who can’t seem to actually read what I wrote before (I never said adverts didn’t exist). I don’t want a massive argument about this, I just don’t appreciate people not being truthful.
Adverts on Facebook don’t mean they have to vote for Starling.
Do we need to have this argument again?
Some folks love Starling. I get it. But the point has been made many times.
Some folks love Monzo. I get it. But the point has been made many times.
It’s much more interesting when we discuss product or tangible stuff, rather than evangelism - on either side.
