Sole to joint

Hello
I’ve got a Monzo sole business account and I need to make it into a joint business account for my business partner to use as well. Is this possible?

The Pro package allows an additional user, but they’ll also need to have a personal Monzo current account. I’m not sure however of the criteria for adding other users - we were both directors of the limited company so it wasn’t a problem.

Hi Chris, we’ve actually made some changes to this process recently!

The user you add does not need to have a personal Monzo current account anymore. A user can have their one and only account be a Business account.

And if you’re inviting someone, they don’t need to be a director!

As for the plans and company type, this is the number of users and their types that are allowed (as of today for a UK business):

Lite:
   1 Admin (you)
Pro:
   Sole Trader:
      1 Admin (you)
      2 Collaborators
   Limited:
      3 Admins (including you)
      2 Collaborators
      (Only 3 total members allowed)
Team:
   Sole Trader:
      1 Admin (you)
      2 Collaborators
      2 Expense Cardholders
      (Only 3 total members allowed)
   Limited:
      3 Admins (including you)
      14 Collaborators
      14 Expense Cardholders
      (Only 15 total members allowed)
      (6 members included with the plan, more can be purchased)
