Is there anyway of using a different colour, say blue, for pending transactions. Only charging it to black when the transaction goes through. At present you have to scroll to the bottom of the transaction in the app to see if it is pending or not.
Why does it matter?
Monzo only shows available balance not account balance, so this wouldn’t make any difference to anything in the app.
Do the reason is to see when for example hotels take payments which they leave pending for days until you depart and then clear the account, either by a new payment leaving the dusting payments pending for ages or actioning the pending payments. I have this issue numerous times.
Not what you’re asking, but never put those holds on a current account! Always on a credit card.
