Show running balance in list of transactions

While the info (and post) below is slightly incorrect (the feature request is still 5th, but now has 173 votes instead of 172, the assumed outcome remains.

Display running balance with each entry

This is now the 5th requested feature with 172 votes - but has been around for 9.5 years without implementation. Chances of it ever being implemented? Slim at best.
