At the moment there is information about interest earned since the beginning of the month, and interest earned since a pot has been opened.
As a minimum, I would like to see how much interest I’ve earned in the current tax year so I can avoid going over the tax-free limit (20% earners £1000, 40% earners £500).
On top of that, a tool to help not going over the tax-free limit, so I know how much to move to a Cash ISA for example.

Yes please! That would be super helpful - much more so than the ‘lifetime’ amount
The savings pots are great, and I love seeing interest earned so far/per month/all time.
However it would be great to be able to filter this on a calendar and tax year basis! As more people are getting dragged into tax bands, they may be unaware that their earned interest is nearing (or over) the tax free amount.
Adding the ability to view earned interest per tax year would give easy visibility of this.

You can download a statement of interest earned each year, which is what you need for your tax return.
Yes and that is necessary. But being able to see how much you’ve earned this tax year is also useful. For example: know when you’re going to start paying tax on that interest and can therefore put money aside in a pot for the tax bill.
