Having set up half a dozen IFTTT applets for handling my monthly budgeting having gone #FullMonzo I think it could have been resolved using the native Schedule Payment functionality if only it gave you the time as well as date you’d like the payment to go.
This would give more control over automating funds in and out of pots as part of monthly budgeting!
Agreed. Being able to set scheduled payments is great, but it’s important to be able to specify the time too. Currently, it seems that the scheduled payment is made on the specified day but at the time that the schedule was created.
For example, if I want to have recurring scheduled payment that happens every Friday at 9am, I currently have to setup that scheduled payment at 9am. If I setup the schedule at 10am, the payment will be made on 10am on Friday, which is too late. Since I have now missed that window, I need to set a reminder for myself to setup the payment tomorrow at 9am. This is just silly.
Please allow us to specify a date and time when setting up a scheduled payment.

We’ve had a load of automated pot transfers working with no problem for the past several years. Two transfers into joint account then a load of pot top ups.
The past two months the pot topups have all failed because of insufficient funds. A real pain. Don’t know what they’ve done differently since December.
Timed transfers or a joint account over draft would solve this.
Are you sure that’s right? Are you talking about to another account or to pots?
I’ve just checked a scheduled transfer and mine all happened at 3am ish which definitely wasn’t when I set it up.
Banking has an order for which bits come first so that (in theory) your transfers happen before your direct debits but after your salary etc.
I’m talking about any scheduled payment, although my example is specifically about payments to other accounts.
In my experience, the scheduled payment happens at approximately the same time of day that I create the schedule, which tends to be in the late afternoon, but perhaps that’s just accidental correlation.
