My financial month starts on the 25th as this is payday. An option to manually set the month start would be great so I can compare spending month the month from payday to payday.
Also once Mondo is a full bank and my salary can get paid in it would be good to be able to set a monthly budget and compare full balance with monthly budget balance.
I currently load my monthly budget onto Mondo and have found it an amazing way to keep track of my fun money spend.
I’m sure you guys have thought of this already!

Indeed this has been thought of already.
So like a lot of people, I get paid at the end of the month (26th) - could there be an opportunity to define where I want my month to start?
I got my Mondo card on the 26th Jan at the office meet invite thing and it’s a little bit tedious now that its the 14th Feb and my expenditure is split over two months so far, so really think having the option to define when my month starts would be cool.
Might just be me not having the card for a long enough time and I may come to realise this is a stupi…
I’m not sure if this is a hidden feature yet, but is it possible to define when your ‘month’ starts? For me, a financial month starts when I get paid - it’s not helpful for me to see the tail end of a previous ‘month’ included in my spending. Is this a feature yet?
Would anyone else find it useful to be able to input your specific pay day, i.e. ‘The last working day of the month’ or ‘25th of each month’ and then have a running total from that date to the next? Or weekly if that’s how you’re paid?
You’ll likely see this with or after Targets are introduced. See if you can find the hint @hugo dropped!
Hi there,
First of all apologies for not sharing too much design stuff lately. We’ve been focused working on ways to optimise user on-boarding: the period that goes from the day you sign up to the waiting list to the magic moment when you get to love Mondo and use it for all your daily spending. So, as you are all already Mondo-lovers all that work doesn’t really matter to you
Let’s try to compensate our radio silence with a meaty and very very wordy sneak peek. This is an update that i…
