Oof glad to see none of the brand’s do that around here, heard something about it but thought it was an issue at one place, been to all UK superstores down here in Devon and none doing it down here at least thank goodness
I always guess on the low side, rarely fill tank, it’s a waste of fuel carrying round the extra weight any way.

My tank gets topped up to full once we’ve reached the half way mark
Exactly 30 days in the end. I actually forgot I was owed this money so this was a nice surprise in the morning.
This is alright for me, but surely there’s a better way of handling this? For someone on a lower income, this is a lot of money to be missing for 30 days.

Same here. It’s one of the features that really annoys me about using shell pay at the pump. I recently timed out and didn’t fill my tank and ended up going inside and paying I’m still waiting for my £100 back. 
Ah, buying petrol. That takes me down memory lane
