Set aside money for a pay at pump payment

This suggestion has been made before, however, this one below has only attracted 8 votes in two years, not that Monzo take notice of votes any more.

Pay at Pump/Pre Auth QoL idea

As somebody who uses Pay@Pump quite a lot, I much prefer how Monzo handles these transactions more than any other bank I’ve used where you get a notification a payments been authorised, the feed shows it and says ‘Amount Pending’, then notifies me when the final amount is received. An idea I had this morning is that what if I could click on the item in my feed when it’s awaiting payment and enter what I just spent for it to be subtracted from my balance immediately rather than wait a couple of …

Pay at pump, add value before to take off summary

I’ve just used my Monzo card to pay for fuel using the pay at pump option, it is currently showing as £1 until the full amount is shown (I will have to remember this in order to know how much I have left to spend) - it would be great if we could tell monzo what that amount is so that it can be taken off the balance straight away?

Personally, I don’t use Pay @ Pump, and, if I was to, would use a credit card.
