Was anyone else struggling with providing a proof of right to stay while applying for Child & Co account? Submitted my ID online and then they asked about this. I got full Settled Status and my share code wasn’t accepted. Person from the online chat told me to wait for the paper form sent by post and go with it to the branch. I did so yesterday with all my documents but I’m still waiting ![]()
Some apps on iOS just don’t have them. LBG doesn’t.

I have pre-settled status and got approved by submitting Passport and Bank statement though Digidocs. All done in 2 days. They did not ask my share code though.
Unfortunately at any point they didn’t ask about proof of address and asked about visa instead. They didn’t ask about share code and didn’t accept it.
Do you not have the BRP (the card)? Maybe it is because of your passport I dont really know. Are you on the electoral roll? Do you see rbs hard check on your credit report?
Fun fact: when I opened my nationwide account they asked me to go branch because they only take uk passport online. But there was an option to ‘identify myself’ by simply accepting a hard check. Thats what i did and didnt had to provide any document to then whatsoever.
I’m from EU and don’t have that card, also yes I’m on electoral roll and I got hard check on my credit file.
While I was applying used my ID card instead of passport so maybe that’s why ![]()
I had an issue with their application form not allowing me to type my address as it would appear. then they rejected my UK driving licence as it did not appear exactly.
They queried it and I sent my UK passport instead, but they still said my address was invalid. Despite me already being an RBS customer with two other accounts using that same identification.
I’m also still in the dark regarding my C&C debit card.

Switch to my existing RBS account has completed and as I was too late for the incentive the last time then should get this soon after my salary hits later this week
Need advice, My RBS account is open (confirmed by cora) but the email said I will receive details after 24hours and still nothing, should I call them? Also my customer number is so random, should be my DOB+4 digits right?

Opened mine, took about 5 minutes with HooYu verification. Though when I log in to the app I still get this - presumably I just have to wait for their database to catch up?
Switching in a Lloyds dummy account and will see what I think of the app/experience. Plus another card for the collection!
Question. Could I ever get a normal RBS card if I applied with C&Co or Drummonds short-code ?
It shows like when your account is not active and fully open. You need to wait for the confirmation email saying ‘Welcome to your account’

I got a lovely call earlier today from the membership team about my platinum account explaining to me each benefit.
Have to admit the customer service is very good and very similar to Amex.

That’s interesting. I wonder if they’re trying to limit Child and Co accounts somehow. I opened another Drummonds in the same way a few weeks ago and it was another Drummonds account I got.
