Being in Scotland it just made a bit more sense in my mind going for RBS instead lol.

Just don’t really understand why RBS doesn’t have the travel reward credit card. Found it useful so far for my uses

ah sorry I was expressing facetious frustration at the fact that all the brands other than NatWest are getting the new features.

Link no longer works to access it, and apparently existing customers told its not possible to open new accounts either.

Oh, you have to call the fraud team and ask them to resolve any markers on previous activity. It’s a pain.

Received an email this morning regarding that random £800 I got deposited into my account on Christmas Eve! That’s the originating bank now claiming it back. It was stressing me out a little knowing it wasn’t mine and they advised me there was nothing they could do :joy:

100% agree. I was on chat with them back and forth and they remained firm there was nothing they could do until the money was claimed back.

Raise a complaint for non compliance. A bank will see where it came from, and can send it back or give you the details to send it.

But I see their cards on comparison websites, new customers get them without having a current account first I assume.

Does anyone know if you can reivew an RBS switch incentive if you have previously recieved one from Natwest? I heard using a different email can help but I wonder if anyone has had any experience doing this.

I did without changing anything but that was 2023. Don’t know what they changed and I have not yet tried again.
The two banks seem not to communicate, I have also seen others on Reddit who did it last year.

I’ve seen comments suggesting it should work as well. Anyway I am currently in the switching process, I have used a different email this time too just in case.

I’ve also had bonuses from both.

Received my bonus from RBS yesterday, received one from NatWest last year too. I used a different email but I don’t think that was even necessary. Who knows, might double dip NatWest too.
