Will Monzo be recognising Ripple like Bank of America, Santander and the Swiss UBS.
Might be worth looking at offering a way for customers to purchase crypto currencies

If I’m reading this and this correctly, it’s not that the bank is offering crypto-currency, but rather they are using blockchain techniques for internal trading?

Ripple system’s are being used by the Bank’s
It’s the Blockchain technology while Ripple is an excellent long term coin to Hold. I managed to get it when it was like 10 cents
