Credit Limit. I assume it means you can move a normal revolut transaction over to your credit card. Though itās the caveat of it only being the amount, you wouldnāt get the rest of the protection like s75.

Feels like Iāve been waiting an age for the first mainstream Fintech credit card. Iād be all over the free card but canāt see anything worth paying Ā£4 p/m for.

Monzo has serious competition once Revolut gets that licence. Pretty much every feature I can think of that folk on here want Monzo to build, is already offered at Rev. Once itās regulated, Revolut will be the business Monzo could never quite get to.

My biggest bugbear with Monzo is the Joint Account. Itās a forgotten experiment. But Revolut doesnāt have a JA at all, so thatās something to considerā¦ But Rev has kids accounts, integrated crypto, a smarter implementation of travel insurance and cashback. Plus cheaper paid-tiers. It does look very tempting, especially if/when the UK banking license is granted.

Iām not sure this is going to be a draw soon, since itās really easy to use something like Coinbase or Binance, and those companies actually let you buy crypto instead of just a tracker like Revolut do (unless something has changed ?).
I think this and the fact that Revolut provides their own travel insurance are the real dangers for Monzo.
Itās probably going to be a case of does Revolut run out of money before they become too big to be stopped.

Yes! Grabbed my personal use first choice, and a side-hustle backup. Good setup from Rev.
Funnily enough I was only looking at this yesterday and wondering when and how Rev was going to open it up to personalisation. Fully expected that to be a paid feature. Result.

The problem with Revolut is that several people do not trust it. I closed my Revolut account. Several family members had their Revolut account blocked, some with a significant amount of money in them. I got mine blocked in 2018 but I never really trusted them after they unblocked it. Also, customer service is abysmal and once I was promised cashback for a transaction I did here in the UK and I never got the cashback (for 8 months they kept saying that they are investigating the issue). I would not trust Revolut at all. Transferwise (now Wise) on the other hand is a different story completelyā¦

I tried a couple of times , thatās how my cameraās night mode picks it up , the colour accuracy of the picture isnāt great, the glow where there is some isnāt bad , but the picture shows thereās a random glow strip and there doesnāt seem to be any glow anywhere else.
Maybe I got a dodgy one.
