They seem to freeze multiple times and when frozen it can take months to get it sorted but quite a lot I have heard from get unfrozen.
What exactly makes it better than Monzo Plus?
Nothing I can use now and only things I may be able to use if something breaks/gets lost/cancelled.
The real proof for me would be how easy those things are to claim with. If they are as good as they make out, Iāll pay them Ā£3 a month for that and not even use the account.
What about the sexy new debit card? 
Iād have my concerns over how theyād handle a claim and tbf sort of feel the same about getting travel insurance with them

As for the frozen accounts, see similar horror stories about Monzo but have my salary in there. Could get paid into Revolut and enter a Ā£3000 prize draw, but for some reason Iām not ready to make the leap

I thought it looked quite bad from your screenshot of it, the well taken promo shots gave it a bit more credit and now youāve posted real world photos, I would hiding that card until it expires

The āat an angleā photo, especially alongside other flags, made it look a bit less dreadful, but oh my, that in the flesh photo. And why is the back blue for no obvious reason??
Leaving aside everything else, I donāt get why the flags are not to proportion. Pretty much every flag is 2:3 or 1:2, but not with Big Rev!

Revolut are using this to nudge free customers onto Premium or Metal. If you go through to the card order screen and tap the flag option, it directs you to the upgrade screen.

After seeing the Plus account I have to admit I was interested but their rule on paying out on the purchase price less 5% monthly depreciation and the excess makes it a no deal for me. I donāt think depreciation at that level reflects reality because if you purchased something and it was stolen a year later the amount reimbursed would nowhere near cover the cost of replacement.
If anyone is interested, there seems to be ask offer in the Rewards tab of 5% cashback in Apple Watches.

Whatās your source on the excess and 5% depreciation, please? Iāve searched, but thereās no mention of any specific terms for the āinsuranceā offerings in the standard T&Cs you get in-app when attempting to sign up.
Even with excess and 5% depreciation, this would be a really nice proposition for many. Iām not willing to pay Ā£10-15 a month for phone insurance - I have enough savings (in part thanks to saving that Ā£15/month rather than giving it to an insurance company!) to replace a broken phone/iPad myself - but Ā£3/month for some money back I think is worth paying to take some of the sting out of having to do soā¦
