I noticed as well you can adjust the limit amounts on the existing wealth protection categories too.

I just set mine to €0 on everything.
I mean, it takes 5 seconds to do a selfie verification in app, and in theory that now means transfers out are behind both the phone’s biometric verification and Revolut’s external biometric verification.

If you turn off contactless on your physical cards and just use mobile wallet, you’re probably protected as best as you can be.

Now to wait for the incoming news headlines ‘I had verification on and followed instructions closely and still someone emptied my account while I was sleeping’ :woman_facepalming:

Think there’s a few new ones cropping up.

I actually quite like the glow option. Especially in grey.

Do they let you transfer in/out of the wallet now?

Huh?

There was a period anyway where you couldn’t actually send crypto out to external wallets such as CoinBase etc

I don’t know if that’s still the case

Seems like you can, I don’t have an external wallet anywhere to test though.

Oh wait

There are more but yeah.

Thanks, yeah for ages you couldn’t if I recall. It was more like stock trading than full crypto.

Not your keys not your crypto…

There are some limits but they’re pretty high (£10k a day per address and £250k per day per rev account)

Word of warning - this new transfer limit also blocks pre-approved scheduled transfers and direct debits.

I have a direct debit that’s been in place for a couple of years and this function has blocked it being paid - so seems it’s only useful if it’s set to the amount of your highest scheduled outbound transfer on a given day

Wonder what network it will use.

Oh where abouts in the app did you see this?
£12.50 for unlimited isn’t bad at all to be fair!!

Do you have round-ups on? I didn’t know you could get points on Standard on non-travel stuff.

Interesting diversification…let’s see what network they use and how it’s implemented in the app

Yeah I have roundups on, I use a virtual card attached to a pocket for fuel. Same for groceries. Then my main card for other bits and pieces.
