Revolut chat

But the point is the people spending £55 a month are probably also going to be big users of Revolut as a whole, transferring money, spending etc. A free user probably breaks even or has a small cost to Revolut so like business class in an airplane, the few people paying £55 are probably the most profitable

Few of my friends have ultra for the travel insurance and free lounges, they’ve never mentioned being rejected from a lounge.

Looking forward to seeing how the banking licence changes the products & services they offer. Really like the app, but lack of FSCS & concerns about customer service were the things that made me think twice.

Possibly the best thing about this news is that the people who tediously comment ‘revolut isn’t a bank’ online will be wrong now

This is impactful.

Until you realise they’ve spent licence wrong :man_facepalming:

But congrats Rev. Good to have competition - let’s see where it takes us!

Reddit is already flaunting false facts like people had zero protections until today bla bla, they’re not even referring to FSCS :worried:

I’ve always said R would be a Plan B if the licence was sorted. Now it’s a serious Plan B

And that Metal Chrome card is simply

I was just reading some of the comments on the FT, and all the usual chestnuts are there: ‘CEO is fraudster’, ‘links to Kremlin’, ‘will block your accounts’, ‘this won’t end well’ etc, etc…

I’d think that FT readers would be a little more on top of reality than Reddit, but apparently not.

Based on that, I’d love to see what the Daily Mail comments contain but I’m not willing to darken my browser history / stored cookies and cache by opening the DM site :joy:

I’m sure the DM would be saying what a Brexit success that Revolut got it’s licence now that we have freedom from Brussels

I guess that explains why they were asking me (incessantly) to (re) provide them with my KYC documentation after already providing it! It made me suspicious of them so I cancelled the account.

They have 6-15 trackers depending on which area of the site you go on. Use ‘DDG’ or, preferably to prevent fingerprinting, ‘Brave’ with shields up. If you also use social media, this should prevent most surveillance.

I will post the card in reality after I receive it

Best of luck, will be interesting to see the quality that’s for sure and whether it’s titanium front, plastic back like other cards. Wouldn’t have personally paid that much for it but to each their own

Physical card is quite nice, doesn’t come in an Ultra surrounding though 🫪

I never saw any pics of it, do you have the photos

They weren’t mine unfortunately. I think Ultra still looks better.

I’m actually quite surprised that no one has commented on the fact Revolut now, according to the email I’ve just got, become a full bank now. Licence granted and mobilisation complete by the looks of it.

Did you skip all the posts?

Haha! I must admit I didn’t scroll much upwards…

Customer Service is another thing they seem to be using as a reason not to use Revolut, first it was a focus on safety and lack of license now it’s poor customer service

I never had a problem with Revolut, I actually think their AI chat thing is really good

AI is great tbh, best out of the bunch.

Think those who moan are the fraudsters not getting their own way or people not asking the right question for th response they need.
