You need to make sure you pay after the monthly statement is issued, and pay in full before the due date. Then your file with record that youāve paid on time.
If you pay off any spending as you go along, within the same statement period, it just shows as āno spendingā on your credit file.
Sorry, no idea about Flex. My answer was about spending on a regular credit card.
Every credit card cycle is always reported. The balance started to be due that month, the balance cleared that month, and new spending. The way reporting works, it means one usually sees purchases done then, due amount for next repayment date, and amount cleared usually matching the previous repayment date. If one is spending money and repaying straight away - the balance might be zero, but spending & reaoyments will have a figure.
