It would be great if Monzo did personalised cards like Abby National a few years ago where you, (for a fee) could upload a picture and have it printed on the card
Who would have one ?

No, waste of money for something nobody really sees.
Barclays is an option if you really want this
Revolut or Barclays do this, but I agree with @Carlo1460 no one really sees it other than the cashier for 30 seconds when you tap to pay and even then most people use digital cards on Google/Apple Pay where they can’t be personalised not that it would be worth it anyway. So why, completle waste of time, money and resources
100% disagree. My old Capital One (USA) card had a photo of my kid and I got sooo many happy comments on it. I would love to do the same thing here.
If Monzo have any sense they’ll never allow this. They all look awful with zero exceptions
I worked for Cap One in the UK in a previous (professional) life and they did this. I don’t think it lasted long at all - each submission had to be vetted to check if someone was breaching copyright by uploading an image they didn’t own, or uploading an indecent or offensive image. If so, we had to get into a discussion with the customer and the whole thing was more trouble than it was worth.
You might be able to automate that a lot more 25ish years on, but it’s a minefield and although I think @Revels is overstating things a bit, the vast majority end up looking awful.
And as @anon51813783 correctly points out, a large percentage of customers now use digital wallets all or most of the time, and they can’t be personalised at all.
Don’t you guys literally collect cards and contribute to the thread about it? ![]()
I don’t parade the streets showing them off, can’t actually think the last time I took a card out the front door now Merseyrail works with debit card/Apple Pay.
