This final award is the equivalent of the school spirit awards you would see in American movies growing up. Itās for keeping the momentum going on discussions, keeping the place safe for newbies and generally just being upbeat about the Community engagement.

Well this has been eventful year!
I continue to be in an incredibly lucky position at Monzo, where I get to shout about the things you all care about and also get to hang out and talk about weird things weāve all seen in the world plus the cool stuff weāve bought. This job is great and so are you lot 
To all the winners - congrats

Regarding next year, I want to run this again but I donāt want a copy/paste scenario so in Jan Iāll run a poll (@Peter_G could be bribed to run it 
) to see how we can make it even better. 
Weāre not done yet!
I took a sabbatical and three excellent people stood in to help keep this place alive and safe. It was an opt in situation (I didnāt bribe or blackmail) and I wanted to make sure it was people who understood how we do things on here and generally understood what it meant to support a discussion rather than trying to takeover.
With that in mind, Iāll be making sure that @Dan5 , @_Tom and @GraemeMonzo will each be getting a little Monzo gift from Santa this year too

12 lessons, car and test, plus theory totalled about Ā£280 back in 2012 when I did mine. Passed first time on both

20 hours is a lot, done mine in 12 (access to a car throughout so probs why), 2 of those were test day.
