Ok so you’ve been trying to bait lots of people on different threads with a fairly confrontational attitude - so Ill bite - much against the nature of this community- sorry
life is unfair isn’t it - get an iPhone
In no particular order -
“that was madness in itself but they were happy excluding Android users then and now.” - which to me sounds like you think you were pretty hard done by for being an Android user - funds were limited, they didn’t have an Android engineer - we cant all have what we want, when we want it, as much as we might want it.
Hierarchy - as I said Investors will get first dibs in the Android queue when released to “public” as that was offered in the crowd cube investment process, you didn’t get chance to invest - hard luck.
As Jon11a said alpha sign ups got a card first because they signed up first, Beta got it second because they waited to sign up or weren’t aware of Monzo until later. It was a requirement to have an iPhone to use the app because thats all they had built and thats what Monzo said in the sign up process - there wouldn’t have been much point giving cards out to Android top of the queue people when there was no Android app to use now would it ? - it costs Monzo something like £40 a card to send out and with Android users first in the queue with no app to use that would be counter productive to testing - as THERE WASNT ANYTHING TO TEST
Android haven’t yet fully released in beta because as I stated funds were limited and Android only really developed from Jun this year - you might want to read this thread about Android development Android Dev Update Alphas and Betas have no other benefits / functionality than yes - we agree - using the app before you because you have chosen to use an Android phone - again life is unfair.
“I don’t think you see the unfairness in what I am saying it’s only available for IPhone users. Android users who cares about them?” - “It was ONLY available for iPhone” so why sign up for the queue in the first place if it said it was ONLY available for iPhone, why not wait for “we now have fully functioning Android app” - maybe because you wanted to get to the top of the Android queue and be unfair on all other Android users ? again we agree life is unfair. I chose to get an I phone, you chose an Android to suit your requirements from a phone
"I don’t like the colour of the card" - shame that is the colour Monzo is using
"I don’t like the name " ;-((((
“Thanks for wishing I get a card that’s gracious of you” - no problem I can repeat it if it makes you think life will be fairer - hope you get your card soon although it makes not one jot of difference to me whether you have a card or not, I would like you to get one which is what I said even after all your continual criticisms of Monzo - sorry if you thought I was being “gracious”
