Here’s a challenge: Name one thing Monzo does better than Nationwide and explain it in a way most people would understand and care about in 30 seconds
Monzo instantly lets you know when money enters or leaves your account, helping you keep track of your spending and notified straight away in the instance of fraud.

Everybody who wants instant notifications has already got them or switched somewhere that has them, in my opinion it’s nothing new or appealing but was in the 2017/18

The point im making is there is little point in promoting niche app features, I believe the new advertising is good because it just encourages people to search monzo themselves and find the features that appeal to them
The radio advertising is about features, and we’ll see what the special ads on Channel 4 and ITV plug

Pots are savings accounts, cash back is on a lot of bank accounts nowadays (and better at Chase), anyone who cares about the app has been bombarded by ads for better apps by monzo / Revolut / starling etc for the last 5 years, and most bank apps aren’t even that bad anymore - Santander just completely redesigned theirs
Your question was specifically about nationwide, not others.
And I would still say Monzo has a really nice app though also confusing at times.
Pots are also nicer than savings accounts for people*.
*Chase accounts being so easy to open makes chase savings/current accounts nicer than normal pots.
