Interesting! I’m on iOS (latest TestFlight) and it’s still not working. @antkennedy
Just thought I check too. Not working for me either -iOS latest TestFlight
Seems to be fixed for me now!
You can change the image on the interest bearing SAVINGS pot, but the safety net image is still the fixed image for the SAFETY pot.

Any update on the ability to save for more than 1 month without putting your 1 month spend as the amount? I feel like this wouldn’t be too hard to add.
I’ve just found a way to do this, sharing how could backfire as they may put a stop to it, but here it goes anyway…
Firstly, I’m a Max subscriber, not sure if will work for other paid tiers.
Go to the max tab and then ‘Advanced Roundups’.
Select the safety net pot.
This next screen will allow you to rename and set a new image.
You don’t have to enable round ups of any kind of you don’t want to.
This worked for me, I’m on extra. Thanks
This was asked in another thread Safety Net for more than one month
It would be great if you could set a safety net for different time periods (3 months, 6 months etc). Before anyone replies stating the obvious that you can just increase the amount I know that … it would be nice to just be able to do this via the UI.
Yeah this would be nice. I kinda hoped the Safety Nets feature was going to get developed more but it’s been a long time since it was introduced so doesn’t seem likely now ![]()
I decided to close my Safety Net pot because it still wasn’t possible to change the goal from one month. I checked in the pot edit settings before archiving to make sure this feature hadn’t been added, and nothing had changed. The ability to set up multiple instant Cash ISAs was the other factor in me making this choice.
Immediately upon closing the Safety Net pot, I noticed in the Pick a Savings Pot screen that it mentioned saving to cover 3 months (not 1 month) expenses… and I have just gone through the process of opening a new Safety Net pot, and sure enough it is now 3 months.
I’m confused as to why this feature wasn’t made available to people who already had the pot open, and why there has been no communication of the feature changes…
I wonder if it’s only available to a few people?
I noticed this too, for the same reason as well.
Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) it’s still the old flow on joint safety net pots.
Never would have found this. Good spot. Real shame the savings squad didn’t come here to let us know.
Yeah it is a shame. I can’t understand why you have to close your existing pot to see the expanded offering.
