When is the preorder?

Buy plane WiFi?

We don’t know yet. Hopefully it opens when I’m not teaching so I can get myself one

Not long to go now…

5th June release date, sooner than I thought

Ā£395 is too much for me as I would only play Pokemon on it anyway. Impressive upgrades though, feels more like a Switch Pro

Based on that alone I will be out until I can walk into a shop and buy one off the shelf lol, if I even bother at all for this one.

Definitely getting the Switch 2 as soon as possible. Not a bad price and it seems they’ve made a lot of really nice improvements. Plus Mario Kart World looks genuinely great and a bit of a difference direction was definitely what was needed after 8 Deluxe. No way they could beat that doing the same thing as before.

Just need to wait for pre-orders now!

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Final Fantasy 7 Intergrade as launch titles makes me very happy!!!

Really nice selection of games announced really. Although they definitely don’t seem to want people to get physical games anymore with the higher prices. Also not quite sure why the welcome tour is paid, but apart from that, nothing to complain about. And glad it isn’t too long until the release.

Gonna have to do my best to get one from another site. Haven’t had NSO for 2 years continuously so won’t be getting anything from there

That you have to pay for. Also a very Nintendo thing and I’m not here for it.

Yeah, it does baffle me as well. Can’t imagine many people buying it to be honest. Certainly doesn’t interest me in the slightest

I burst out laughing to myself when he said it’s a paid game lol

Any ideas if Amazon and other sites will put pre orders up on the 8th as well?

It seems the Switch 2 did have stock at Smyths at some people managed to buy it. But out of stock already. Obviously no idea if they really had much stock or if an error with their website, but there are screenshots on twitter of people buying it

Amazon is doing somthing I’ve not seen from them before - invitations to preorder. Might be worth getting on that list.

Any ideas how they decide who to invite? Do they favour prime members?

I’ve registered my interest with my preferred supplier, Shopto. Pretty jazzed for the Switch 2 tbh.

The Mario Kart World bundle is now available as well via invitation
