Has anyone got the finger print card, if so does it work without issues?
I’m not with NatWest so unsure how common they’re. Just find it pretty cool.

The 4 month period is decent tbf, not having to pay the 1st payment straight away will be seen as a bonus to some people.
Limit I don’t see as an issue, they’ll be wanting to see how it plays out with their other products (credit cards). Way I see it, for bigger purchases customers can just use a CC instead.
The basic one maybe.
It looks like it’s solely a credit card, interest free, pay over 4 months.
Didn’t see anything on section 75, though wasn’t looking too far through it.
I’m aware of what it is, I’m saying for a bigger limit they’ll be watching how it plays out against their actual credit card offerings. If customers need bigger limits then for now they’ll either go for an actual standard credit card offering, a loan or another provider.
Edit for stupid spelling mistakes / auto predict
Probably testing the waters first before going big.
The NatWest BNPL is a no go for me, as foreign currency transactions are excluded. Looks like a Domestic only product.
I think it more refers to buying currency as foreign exchange shops will come under money exchange or similar.
I don’t think purchasing in a different currency is a problem.
But is there an fx markup? Or is it none?
I don’t bank with NatWest so I’m not sure, you’d need to check how they generally handle fx
NatWest are a strange bunch.
Applied through app, directed to web to apply, when the buy now pay later came out.
Declined, hard check made, referred me to CIFAS.
Got my cifas report, only dozens and Metro bank? showed up as searches, nothing else.
Never had a dealing with Metro, or ever applied. Strange.
Anyway, checked the NatWest application via the website instead and chose the option of used to be account holder, not new account.
Accepted with overdraft.
They really don’t make the credit check part clear what so ever.
I thought this had been discontinued, interesting
Na was quite straight forward.
I don’t own my home so it’s possible they were sourcing net worth kinda thing?
Maybe to offer more appropriate services?
In reference to the credit check bit I think someone else on here had the same issue and made a complaint and it was upheld?
Yeah I’ll get on it once I have a day off
So annoyingly NatWest take their systems offline every night for a period of time for maintenance etc etc.
I just gone to make a payment for something online, but can’t make that payment as my card is frozen. Can’t get onto the app to defrost it, due to said maintenance period
I mean I can make the payment tomorrow when I wake up, so it’s not a great issue. Just a minor annoyance that something so simple is out of bounds.
Branch closures imminent?
Still no bloody see pin in app option, one day maybe.
Tbf it’s only an issue with the new cards which I’ve still not been to an ATM to change the pin yet.
Hopefully, key missing feature for me (I never really use the card)
