Usually it’s because the losing bank are querying it - i.e. debit card details provided for the switch do not match, or name or address doesn’t match.
Is there no way to see your card number in app?
Not currently
You can’t at the moment; they’re not available until February, and then only in branch.
Oh I see.
Just do it on your mobile browser. No difference really.
It is nice but FlexOne is good too (my sons have it)
Doesn’t work for me anymore. Just directs me to the website for Contact Us section.
When it used to work it was a chatbot.
Live chat through the app or internet banking with real (helpful) people once you get past the bot.
I’ve used it to resolve reasonably complicated things (like a multi-year claim under the Direct Debit guarantee). It’s not the fastest but there are definitely real people on the other end.
Live chat is useless for any switching related issues tho, just FYI.
It is possible. There are two parts to it (spare change & impulse saver) and they’re either both off or both on. I managed it once, but I’m not sure how! As I would like the spare change feature (wish it was automatic!) I put up with the impulse saver nonsense.
Were reduced last week. Only small changes but regular.
As it’s a maximum per calendar month can put in 13 x £200, if you time the opening of the account to avoid the first couple of days of the month.
The best time to open the account would be near the end of the month, because then you can put another £200 in a few days later when the next month begins.
Last app update includes a staged rollout of a “Statements & Documents” section. Will finally be able to view these in app.
I already have the feature, I can finally easily grab a credit card statement without “The Internet Bank” now.
Is it just me or is the credit card statement history transaction list not showing up for previous statements in the app?
Mine are all in there. Interestingly my closed accounts also show up in that section of the app.
