Driving past Nationwide in Wrexham today and my jaw hit the floor how amazing it looks!
Didn’t even realise it was Nationwide cuz the rebrand.
I’ll get some pics tomorrow. Very modern and slick.

Pretty sure Hartlepool doesn’t look as great, I like it.
Makes me curious on what they’re gonna launch through the app ie layout etc.
Hopefully comes as modern.
Glancing at hsbc and Lloyds on the same road, it really sits above the rest. Barclays is a close second but me and Barclays don’t get along
I’d rather they spend the money on their website than changing the furniture in branches.
I keep them as my reserve account because they offer a Visa card and I have to say I really like the customer support and in branch staff but the website can’t have changed in about 15 years.
I’d love to meet their UI Dev team and see what they actually do all day.
Looks really nice.
I’m sure the people going into branch because the battery on their card reader ran out or they can’t do it on the app will appreciate ‘Apple Store’ layout.
If only the rest of the organisation was anything as modern.
You need one to change the login code to the app too. I went in to grab a reader when I was opening an account solely so I could change it.
Made this mistake once. It’s now a contact in my phone
Despite Nationwide’s branch promise, the staff will have been instructed to try their best to talk you out of actually using the branch and persuade you to do everything online instead.
Oh god. I hope you showed them the thread on this forum.
Please can you update that thread if it comes and is a new design?
That’s Santander surely
LMFAOed
Nobody does
Speak to your people and have them issue a pin and card.
I can’t spill here, ha ha.
No one expects the Swindon Inquisition.
Went on hols to Spain a few years back and took part in the customary quiz. One team was called Netsi (Nobody Expects The Spanish Inquisition).
No one is actually from Swindon, that’s the funny thing . Take from that what you will.
No. Cash cards don’t show.
Sounds like a decent deal, beats the NatWest one I think. But then again with a limit of £200 and only 12 months, would it be worth it after a year…
That very much depends on your circumstances but 8% is a fantastic rate and can’t, right now, be beaten. Someone putting away £200/mo ought to earn £96 interest at the end of the year.
