All these cards and faces are facing the wrong way, though.

That’s the “follow me to” meme*, so we should be seeing the BACK of the card/Hot Chip.

It’s my small but absurdly petty hill and I’ll die on it if I want to.

We’ve found lots of behavioural trends were impacted by the pandemic, and some still are. We did some measurement to pre-pandemic levels, factoring in customer growth from 2019. This estimates travel spending over three quarters of where it was pre-pandemic.

The comparison to last year shows the extent and speed of that path to recovery which is what we wanted to highlight :slightly_smiling_face:.

The results are in from yesterday’s poll and 65% smashed it with :us: as the top non european destination. Anyone on here help add to those numbers at all?

Not yet, but I can add to the Turkey number when I go to Istanbul next month!

Have belatedly noticed: Turkey’s rebranding as Türkiye is going well. Loads of TV adverts, almost zero percent uptake.

Yup. Went to LA in June, after going to Paris and squeezing Munich & Frankfurt in there too. Busy month June was! :airplane:

How did you find Frankfurt? I rarely hear much excitement about it. But may swing by there when I’m in Germany in a couple of weeks.

It’s certainly not the most exciting place - especially downtown. Think corporate banking and insurance. A bit bland. But if you move west from the main train station, you hit an ‘interesting’ area which is both dodgy and hip at the same time. Nice down by the river too.

Got some great memories and memory losses spending time in o’reilly’s Irish pub near the station.
