I’d love to hear some sort of firm commitment from Monzo on issues such as this. I really like the level of transparency that Monzo has with most things, but I also don’t want to just assume that it will cover everything. There are huge incentives for Monzo to let things like this slip through the cracks, and while I don’t think that will happen, I don’t want to leave it open to happening either.
More than happy to state our commitments as and when we launch or test anything new that utilizes any data 
Right now a lot of what’s being discussed in this thread is hypothetical.
I agree that it’s hard to commit on specifics when there aren’t any yet, but I still think there’s a place for a firm commitment to something more general, as it’ll be too late by the time it comes up. Changing banks has got a lot easier, but it’s still a big thing, so if someone wasn’t happy with something new Monzo did it could be some time before they could leave in response.
I’d love to see a commitment to, for example, always offer customers an opt-out for any data used for anything other than providing service to customers.
