So it looks like Monzo are about to be confirmed as the new shirt sponsor for Coventry City - as both a Monzo customer for several years, and a Coventry City season ticket holder, this is exciting news.
Has been speculation for a couple of months, but the latest tweet from CCFC would seem to suggest it’s a done deal.

A Hot Coral away strip sounds like an ideal opportunity with Monzo as a sponsor
Gary Hoffman is a Coventry supporter, or was on the board, and is Monzo’s chair, so this isn’t a mega surprise.

Coventry’s colour is more sky blue than neon. Although the app images found so far do look more lagoon blue than dark/neon so maybe it’ll be a sky blue neon card

Monzo sponsoring a football club that’s not mine will not affect how I use my account. Don’t see why it should anyone else.
Given that those who close their Monzo account seem to get “sent to Coventry”, in terms of not being able to rejoin, appears quite apt to choose the Sky Blues

If you sponsor Glasgow Celtic you have to sponsor Glasgow Rangers and vice aversa or you lose hundreds of thousands customers(and I’m not joking) so best to stay away(in my opinion)
