I took Monzo, a Nationwide Select Credit Card and a Halifax Credit card to Venice, Italy and made sure I used each one for purchasing food. Now I’m back in the UK, I’ve checked each card’s Exchange Rate:
Monzo - 1.16€ to £1
Halifax Clarity - 1.155€ to £1
Nationwide Select - 1.153€ to £1
So Monzo wins and there’s not enough difference between the other two to justify keeping both. I’m with Nationwide Bank so will drop the Clarity Card. Then I’ll be sure to load up the Monzo for our next European trip in May.
