No its just seeing the continual new features added to iOS thats kind of the issue…

So you want the iOS development team to stop building, while the Android development team catch up? Monzo started on iOS, nearly a year ago, and the Android app has only been here for a few months. The speed it’s being built is great, but knowing your user number isn’t something that should be high on the Android wish list. However I have no doubt it will be added.

I would argue, especially given that android outsells iOS globally about 10 to 1 that the best return would be yes, putting all focus into achieving parity, and then keeping both apps at parity for a totally consistent user experience.
However I realize iOS developers possibly dont have the skills to simply jump over to the android development system…
And of course no… Knowing the sign up number isnt important, which is precisely why seeing efforts expended on unimportant iOS things, while vital android things like mag stripe unlocks, knowing how close to your cash limits you are, etc etc are lacking on android, yeah, thats frustrating.

Just to echo Tristan’s post, we’re working hard to achieve some parity between both operating systems without compromising the ease of use or functionality of the Android app in the process. It’s important that the Android updates released are not just released regularly, but also that they get the love and attention they deserve.
