Does Monzo use renewable energy? I’d imagine running a back needs loads of electricity? Is this green? If not would you consider doing such a thing? Could give you another USP.

I think everything is hosted and the office space is a rental so I don’t think they really have a say in anything right now.
Unless they have suddenly built a data centre and moved to the hills

This may only be for the us but here it is anyway
Would also like to see Monzo be as green as possible but I think right now they’re limited by how AWS/third-parties approach it.
Not to say there are ways to make their office environmentally friendly and purchase green energy when they can but I imagine profitability is the main focus above this for now.
