@Mogolent hey sorry you’re having trouble with this. This is an error on the TrueLayer side, it is a bug they’re investigating at the moment.
These issues will go away once we move to open banking API connections, they’re a symptom of the slightly flaky approach of screen scraping.
If you DM me your Monzo account’s email address I can point TrueLayer to your account in case it helps them investigate and fix the bug.
Right now we’re designing some in-product communication to let people know that this can sometimes happen. In most cases it connects itself the next time we sync your accounts.
Will there be any further cards included - I note about 10 or so currently - no Tesco Credit Card option; isn’t this part of the RBS network??
What about spending info included within your feed so that it can be captured as part of your monthly budget and correctly allocated within a spending category?
The ability to connect isn’t based on the bank that powers a credit card, but by how you sign in to your online banking - if it’s a different website, it needs a different connection flow.
We’re working on transactions at the moment, but it’ll start basic, and will be separate from your main feed and budgeting - from talking to people it sounds like everyone has a different expectation for how integrated external transactions should be, so we’re starting by keeping things separate, rather than mushing everything together by default.
Hey Aaron - the feature isn’t yet available for everyone. If you search the help section in-app, there’s an article with a link to the connection flow.
