I used to have monese liked the app but stopped using it and closed my account when they started charging for everything even transfer to another account
Right now they are actually not accepting new account applications. The status of an account opening application is always in progress.
Not sure why anyone would want a Monese. Outside a plan, everything is chargeable?

Looking at their website now it looks like everything on their premium account is now scrapped - no income protection insurance etc and the only real benefit is lesser fees!
I canāt see how theyāll last, the same for things like wise etc. With a rise of fee free spend and transfers the only thing these accounts have is low fees and Iām not even sure they (Monese) can offer this.

Monese had a far better platform so maybe Pockit will utilise that.
Woke up to 3 fraudulent transaction attemps this morning ; itās an account that I have just sitting there unused so was a bit confused to see Monese pop up in my notifications!

Tried to report it through the app and they are stating because the payments failed (no money in the account), I donāt need to do anymore and doesnāt then give me an option to speak to them!
They recommended to freeze the card which I have done but the next step was confirm the status of the payment.
I selected failed as it had done and all it then advised was ;
"As the transaction has failed, it means that :
No money was taken from your account and you donāt need to take any action"
To be fair, thereās probably nothing that can be done other than cancel your current card and order a new one. Once someone has your card details thereās no way to stop them attempting to use them. Not good that Monese doesnāt recommend you order a new card, but I would do that anyway.
It probably gives me the nudge I need to actually close it anyway
Just an update to this one ;
They have finally replied to my live chat message I sent this morning and they are only advising I block the card and contact the merchant because itās a transaction I donāt recognise.
No offer to replace the card whatsoever.
EDIT: They have closed the chat and sent me an email about how to claim a chargeback!
