This will work right?

S23U with physical O2 sim in it (work) and a vodafone Esim. I can add an EE Esim and switch the sim profile without problems, right? But I cannot use two esims at once?

Correct, I think you can add up to 10 esim or more on some devices, I’ve had up to 4 on my iPhone and able to have two active at any time. Not sure if Samsung allows 2 esim the same time.

Ordering doesn’t seem to want to work though, won’t validate email

When I tap validate, it should come up with a box to enter the code you receive via email.

The box doesn’t load up, this happened just before the crash last time, tried multiple browsers with no luck.

EE are rolling out 5G locally and I wanted to go around checking it out

Update: it worked in Private browsing in safari.

Am I missing something obvious but the lyca 5gb PAYG gives you 10gb for the same price as the 5gb 30 day contract?

Cheers. Got one for the eu roaming.

The other thing is it’s so easy to trace. The IMEI will be the same each time

Ordered a cheap e-sim last night and it’s still pending not a great experience.

I started a PayPal dispute as that might give them an incentive.

Yeah I did another one and it worked.

It’s a shame that Android devices don’t support MEP which allows for dual e-sims to be activated - having to switch my main line [vodafone] back to a physical sim so I can have:

Sim 1 - Vodafone (my line)
Sim 2 - O2 (work)
Esim - Lyca

As activating Sim 2 always deactivates the esim and I never want to deactive my own line.

Mep is also carrier specific, I’m not sure which carriers support it here.

I’ve just noticed (I’m on android 14) that you can now have dual SIM selected to switch mobile data to your other SIM if signal there is better, I would need to test how good it works in practice, but it was a huge pain point for me when it took 10+ clicks to switch data to the other SIM, and then again to switch back, so this is great.

On a samsung, its in the notification shade so not a massive hassle.
