Merging duplicate topics

Agree totally with RichardR, the community currently runs itself very smoothly and there is no need for Moderators at the present time.

I really donā€™t understand what is going on with the duplicate topics. I see ā€˜Splitting cash withdrawals in to several categoriesā€™ 2, 3, 8, 4 and 5.

Which one do I like to register my interest. All of them? Any of them?

basically people should search for an existing post and add to that thread but they donā€™t bother finding an existing thread and just create a new one. so instead of just one we end up with a mess of a dozen different threads. in order to declutter this mess leaders tend to tweek thread titles to get them all to match and then sufix them with a number in chronological order. In some cases related topics have been merged and broad subject threads split. If you find various threads ending - 1, - 2, - 3 etc it probably best to post in the original thread which renumbered with a 1. For travel threads the main thread has an internationally recognised flag for the country and duplicated threads have a number but no flag and if spotted by leaders will be linked to the original post and locked to further entry
