Over a week and this is still broken.
Will this the same enrichment system that will be used for business banking? For a business account if it is the same enrichment system I would want an option to turn it off. Because it just does not work.
We are deciding what bank to go with for our new company and this is a deciding factor. It is such a mess for my personal account where I cannot track finances at all. It now just adds confusion. This morning I was about to contact COPs for fraud on my account because the merchant enrichment changed over night and I had no idea what the transaction was and even the location was wrong. Turns out a vendor I use regally was changed over night to the incorrect data.
Thanks,
Adam Horden
If this could be looked into as well that would be great it flips between online transaction and an address which is not right as it’s always been an online transaction.
Who doesn’t know spotify is online only!
I accept some of the others might be more niche knowledge but even a 1 second google of spotify would tell you it is online only
Exactly it’s all over the place at the moment
Spotify UK moved out of that address quite a while ago now.
I don’t think this is anything that’s gone through the merchant data system. I’ve had a look at my bill in my Amex account and that also has the old address attached to it. I guess something has changed with the way Spotify process their payments.
my employer is enriched as a completely different company for my salary payments by BACS - this is really cannot understand, and I have reported it a few times and it hasn’t changed
It‘a rather hilarious how it gets updated to somewhere in Online Transaction but can’t actually change it to an online transaction.
Similar case I’m having with my Crunchyroll it’s online and yet they all have an address now somewhere in USA due to the HQ being there.
People keep saying that, but if it wasn’t an online transaction I am not sure can (or should) show it as such
I had one month where Google put through their subscriptions from their London offices (plural) rather than the norm and then they went back to online transactions
I am not sure given what I have seen there and elsewhere that it is anywhere near as simple as “bought it online so it was an online transaction”. I mean heck all of my Paypal transactions show an address
Taking a look on Google did not throw up any helpful results on what differs between the two, so it would be nice to hear more
Unfortunately I think :mondo: staff have for the most part been scared off this thread
Interestingly, I’ve discovered that if I search for “Somewhere in” all of my correctly classified Online transactions also show up in the results, so I guess maybe that explains why the ones incorrectly showing a map often have the “Somewhere in” phrasing at the start
I just sent in a couple of logo suggestions for local shops and they were added within 5 minutes
We’ve got ‘Apple iTunes’ now - please sort this sh*t show out Monzo. There’s no excuses anymore, why are these changes being accepted?
I just put everything through my Amex now. Can’t deal with the consistently wrong information.
I’m the same as you. All 3! Lucky me
Without wanting to derail the Apple / Apple iTunes / iTunes debate, has anyone else noticed TfL getting in on the act and wreaking havoc?
‘Transport for London’ (along with the pretty cool auto-update to the note with the date of travel) is becoming increasingly replaced by ‘TfL Travel Charge’
All journey’s are the usual ones (well, used to be) that I make across a mix of modes so it’s not as though certain transactions are solely national rail, bus, or tube, for example.
They process these using different merchant names and addresses which is somewhat frustrating.
